Watch Hindi IPTV Channels Abroad Without Missing a Single Show
Many viewers living in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Australia quickly discover that popular Indian television channels are often restricted outside India. Daily serials, weekend reality shows, and live events suddenly become difficult to access through traditional broadcasting services.
That gap is exactly what modern IPTV platforms are designed to solve. With RisePrimeTV, audiences living overseas can continue watching Hindi TV channels from India without relying on regional cable providers or complicated satellite setups
From Daily Serials to Live News – Every Type of Hindi Channel in One Place
Hindi television stands out for its incredible diversity of programming. On any given day, viewers might switch between dramatic family serials, live news discussions, Bollywood film broadcasts, and major cricket tournaments — all within the same language ecosystem.
Many of these content categories are brought together through RisePrimeTV, which organizes Hindi channels across multiple viewing interests rather than limiting audiences to a single type of programming.
Entertainment channels continue to dominate evening schedules with long-running dramas and reality shows, while movie networks showcase Bollywood classics and new releases. News channels deliver round-the-clock coverage of national events, and sports broadcasters bring live cricket and other major competitions directly to Hindi-speaking audiences worldwide.
72 Hindi IPTV channels — Watch live Hindi TV, Bollywood movies, news and bhakti channels in the UK, USA and Canada
RisePrimeTV brings together 72 Hindi channels covering entertainment, news, Bollywood movies and music, devotional programming, sport and kids content. Watch live Hindi TV on the television, laptop or phone you already use, with catch-up available for recent serials and news. Together, these channels cover the main Hindi viewing interests — from daily serials and Bollywood films to news, cricket, devotional programming and children's entertainment. Every channel streams live to Firestick, Smart TV, Android, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and any browser.
Hindi entertainment channels
Hindi general entertainment is the most contested genre on Indian television, and it runs on two levels at once. Four subscription flagships — Star Plus, Colors, Sony and Zee TV — spend the most on original serials and reality formats and set the conversation. Underneath them sits a free-to-air tier that costs a fraction as much to run and often delivers bigger raw audiences. A Hindi package that carries only the first tier looks impressive and misses much of what people actually watch. Both tiers are here, along with the Doordarshan national service.
Flagship pay channels
On air since 1992 and the benchmark Hindi general entertainment channel for most of that time. Long-running family serials in the evening block, with the biggest weekend event formats. Now part of JioStar, which since November 2024 also owns its oldest rival.
Launched in 2008 and the reality-format channel of the four — Bigg Boss and the stunt and dance franchises pull the whole weekend schedule around them. Carried internationally as Aapka Colors. Came into JioStar from the Viacom18 side of the merger.
On air since 1995 and the one flagship built on appointment non-fiction rather than daily serials — the quiz, singing and crime franchises that run for months at a time and bring occasional viewers back to a fixed hour.
India's first privately owned Hindi satellite channel, launched in 1992, and still the anchor of the widest single-owner channel stack in the language. Serials, talent formats and the catalogue that feeds Zee's free-to-air and movie channels below.
The comedy channel of the Hindi flagships, and the one with the most durable single title in the genre. Light family sitcoms rather than melodrama, which makes it the channel most households leave on with children in the room.
Relaunched under this name in 2017, having been Star One and then Life OK. Mythological and historical drama alongside social serials — a distinctly different brief from Star Plus, aimed further into the Hindi-speaking heartland.
Zee's second Hindi general entertainment channel, launched in 2015. Comedy and lighter drama pitched between Zee TV's mainstream slate and the free-to-air tier, with a long-running mythological strand.
Free-to-air general entertainment
Enterr10's free-to-air Hindi channel and regularly one of the most-watched channels in India across all languages and genres on BARC's all-India count. Built first on mythological and devotional reruns, later on its own low-cost originals. The single biggest gap in most Hindi lineups.
Enterr10's second free-to-air general entertainment channel, added in 2022 to run the network's back catalogue against its own flagship. Older shows from across the Hindi GEC market alongside repeats of the Dangal originals.
The free-to-air arm of the Star stable, running the network's proven serials a season or more behind the pay channel. It has challenged Dangal for the top free-to-air Hindi slot, which is how closely fought this tier is.
A free-to-air Hindi channel built around comedy and light entertainment, and a regular presence in the free-to-air charts. Programming pitched squarely at the Hindi belt rather than at metro audiences.
Zee's free-to-air general entertainment channel, giving a second life to serials first shown on Zee TV and &TV. For households abroad it is often the easiest way to pick up a Hindi serial from the beginning rather than mid-run.
Sony's free-to-air Hindi channel, carrying serials and non-fiction from the Sony Entertainment and Sony SAB catalogues. The lightest-weight of the free-to-air tier and the one most often used as daytime background viewing.
Public service
Doordarshan's flagship national channel and the oldest television service in the country. Drama, classical performance, rural and agricultural programming and national events — plus the archive serials that periodically return and out-rate everything else on air.
Why Star Plus and Colors Now Share One Network
On 14 November 2024 Reliance's Viacom18 merged its media assets into Disney's Star India to create JioStar, a joint venture valued at around $8.5 billion in which Reliance holds 63.16% and Disney 36.84%. The two biggest rival Hindi general entertainment channels of the past fifteen years — Star Plus and Colors — now sit inside one company, along with Star Bharat, Star Gold, Colors Cineplex, Star Utsav and the Star Sports network. The streaming platforms followed in February 2025, when JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar were combined as JioHotstar, and the sports channels in March 2025, when the Sports18 feeds were folded into Star Sports.
Nothing about the channels themselves changed — same feeds, same schedules, same names on screen. But older channel lists still describe these as competing networks, and package comparisons written before late 2024 are describing a market that no longer exists.
Why Both Hindi Entertainment Tiers Matter Unique to Hindi
Where the money and the conversation are
The flagship channels commission original serials, run the big reality franchises and set what gets talked about. They are what a Hindi package is judged on and what most viewers ask for by name. They are also, on raw audience numbers, not the whole story.
Where the audience actually is
Free-to-air Hindi channels run repeats, mythology and cheaply made originals, and a free-to-air channel has often held the top spot in India across every language and genre. In no other Indian language does the free-to-air side compete on equal terms — Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam are all decided in the pay tier.
Alongside Star Plus, Colors, Sony and Zee TV, the free-to-air lineup carries serials, mythology, comedy and family programming that many viewers watch every day. RisePrimeTV includes both sides of the Hindi entertainment market, so you are not limited to the flagship networks.
Frequently asked questions
Can I watch Star Plus, Colors, Zee TV and Sony live outside India?
Yes. All four Hindi flagship general entertainment channels stream live through RisePrimeTV to the UK, USA and Canada, on Firestick, Smart TV, Android, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and in any browser. These are the four channels most households check for first, so they come first in the lineup rather than being buried in a list.
How many Hindi channels does RisePrimeTV carry?
There are 72 Hindi channels in the lineup, covering entertainment, news, movies, devotional programming, sport and kids content. All 72 are included in every Hindi IPTV subscription. Live channels are backed by catch-up, so a serial that airs in the Indian evening can be watched at a workable hour in Birmingham or New Jersey.
What time do Hindi serials air, and does that work abroad?
Hindi prime time is a block rather than a single hour — roughly 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM Indian Standard Time, with the marquee slots from around 9:00 PM. Because the India feeds are carried live, that block lands in the middle of the UK afternoon and in the US morning: 9:00 PM in Delhi is about 3:30 PM in London, 10:30 AM in New York and Toronto, and 7:30 AM on the US west coast. UK households can watch a good part of prime time live; North American households generally pick it up on catch-up in the evening. Those conversions are against standard time — during British Summer Time and US daylight saving, each moves an hour later.
Do you carry the free-to-air Hindi channels, or only the paid ones?
Both. This is worth checking on any Hindi package, because free-to-air Hindi channels are not a lesser tier the way they are in other languages — Dangal, Star Utsav, Big Magic, Zee Anmol, Sony Pal and Dangal 2 often out-rate the flagship channels on all-India audience counts, and they carry much of the mythological and devotional drama. A lineup that lists only Star Plus, Colors, Sony and Zee TV is showing you only part of the picture.
Which Hindi news channels are included?
The Hindi news selection covers national newsrooms, business and parliamentary coverage, along with state-focused services covering Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and the wider Hindi belt. Together, these provide broad national coverage alongside the regional reporting many families look for. The news channel listings separate national, business, parliamentary and state-focused reporting so you can find the type of Hindi news you want.
Are Hindi channels available in HD?
The flagship general entertainment channels, the main Bollywood movie channels and the Hindi sport feeds all broadcast dedicated HD feeds, so a Hindi package generally looks good on a large television. It is not universal: much of the free-to-air tier and a large part of the devotional tier are produced in standard definition only, which is a deliberate cost decision by those broadcasters rather than a platform limitation — where a broadcaster does not make an HD feed, no service can create one.
Can I watch Hindi channels on Firestick, Smart TV or my phone?
Yes — every channel on this page streams to Firestick, Smart TV, Android, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and any browser, so a household can have the serials on in the living room, cricket in another room and a children's channel on a tablet without a second subscription.
Is there cricket with Hindi commentary?
Yes, and Hindi is the language this was built for — the Hindi commentary feeds came first and remain the largest by audience, with full commentary teams rather than a dubbed audio track. Broadcast rights to specific tournaments are re-tendered every few years and move between networks, so the current programme guide is always the reliable source for a given fixture. For commentary in English, browse the English IPTV channels.
Who actually owns Hindi television
Most channels in the Hindi lineup belong to one of seven major broadcaster or network groups, and after the 2024 merger the landscape looks very different from older channel lists.

Hindi is the widest-spoken Indian language abroad and, unlike Telugu or Malayalam, the audience is not concentrated in a short list of metros — it is present in essentially every South Asian community across the three countries, which is why this package is built for range rather than for one region. In Birmingham, Southall and Brampton, plenty of those households switch between Hindi serials and Punjabi TV channels through the same evening.
Hindi news channels live
Hindi news is the most crowded genre in Indian television — more twenty-four-hour channels compete in Hindi than in any other language, and the market has three distinct layers rather than one. National newsrooms in Delhi and Noida broadcast to the entire Hindi-speaking market. A business tier covers markets, policy and personal finance in Hindi rather than English. And a state tier reports district by district across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan — the layer that matters most to families abroad, because national bulletins rarely reach the town anyone is actually from. All three are carried here.
National newsrooms
The India Today Group's Hindi channel and, by most measures, the most-watched Hindi news channel in the country. Rolling bulletins, election coverage and the studio debate formats that define the genre.
Broadcast as Star News until the Anandabazar Patrika group took full control in 2012 and renamed it. A newspaper-newsroom sensibility applied to television — long-form reporting alongside the bulletin cycle.
NDTV's Hindi service, the quieter end of the genre — fewer panel shouting matches, more reported segments. Often the channel viewers abroad pick when they want the day's news rather than the day's argument.
One of the highest-rated Hindi news channels for two decades, built on a mass-market bulletin style and heavy election and crime coverage. Consistently among the top three in the genre.
Zee Media's flagship Hindi news channel and the hub of the widest network of state news feeds in the language — several of which are carried in the state tier below.
Network18's Hindi national channel, sitting at the centre of a group that also runs state-language news across most of the country. Politics, policy and a heavy live-event schedule.
The Hindi channel of the Republic Media Network, launched in 2019 and quickly one of the most-watched in the genre. Debate-led, high-tempo and unmistakably its own format.
The Hindi national channel of the TV9 Network, which built its reputation in regional news before moving into the national Hindi market. Strong on state politics that the Delhi newsrooms treat as secondary.
The Times Network's Hindi channel, launched to bring the group's English news franchise into the Hindi market. Newer than most of the tier and pitched at a more urban audience.
An independent Hindi news channel with a straightforward bulletin-led schedule and a lighter debate load than most of the genre. A steady presence in the Hindi news top ten.
The India Today Group's second Hindi channel, built around a deliberately different editorial brief from Aaj Tak — solutions, science, health and human-interest reporting rather than the breaking-news cycle.
Prasar Bharati's public-service news channel. Bulletins in Hindi and English, government and parliamentary coverage, and national ceremonial events carried in full rather than cut into a package.
Business, markets and parliament
Hindi business news through the Indian trading day — markets, commodities and personal finance explained for a retail audience rather than an institutional one. The most widely watched Hindi business channel.
Network18's Hindi business channel, the Hindi counterpart to CNBC-TV18. Live market coverage, corporate results and policy analysis, with the heaviest schedule concentrated around the trading session.
The Times Network's Hindi business channel, aimed at investors and small business owners outside the metros. Markets, taxation and enterprise coverage in plain Hindi.
Parliament's own channel, formed by merging the separate Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha services. Live proceedings from both houses during sessions, plus committee and policy programming — the primary source the news channels are reacting to.
State desks across the Hindi belt
District-level news from India's largest state and its Himalayan neighbour. Local politics, civic reporting and regional weather at a level of detail no national bulletin carries.
Network18's state feed for Bihar and Jharkhand — the eastern Hindi belt that supplies a large share of the Gulf and Western diaspora, and the region least covered by the Delhi newsrooms.
State news for central India, covering two states from a single newsroom. Agriculture, state administration and district reporting alongside the state political cycle.
Rajasthan state news, with the district and panchayat-level coverage that decides state elections. Also the main source for festival, fair and pilgrimage reporting from the region.
One language, seven states — which desk covers where National tier plus state tier
National
12Broadcast from Delhi and Noida to the whole Hindi-speaking market. National politics, foreign affairs, the parliamentary cycle and anything large enough to lead everywhere at once.
Uttar Pradesh
1India's most populous state and the largest single Hindi news market anywhere. Its state cycle is national news in its own right.
Bihar & Jharkhand
1The eastern belt. Heavily represented in the diaspora and consistently the least covered region on national bulletins.
Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh
1Central India, covered from one newsroom — state administration, agriculture and district reporting.
Rajasthan
1Its own state cycle and its own festival and pilgrimage calendar, both largely invisible from Delhi.
Business & parliament
4Markets and policy in Hindi rather than English, plus live proceedings from both houses — the primary material the national desks above are responding to.
The state tier is the part most often missing from a Hindi package abroad, and the part families use most. National bulletins cover a state at election time; a state desk covers the district all year. If the town anyone in the household is actually from sits in one of these states, this is the layer that reaches it.
Hindi movie and music channels
Bollywood on television is not a film library with a schedule bolted on — it is a genre with its own economics. Hindi movie channels bid for satellite rights, build a whole week around a single world television premiere, and fill the rest of the schedule from catalogues going back fifty years. Two things have changed the tier recently: dubbed South Indian blockbusters now draw audiences on Hindi movie channels that rival the Bollywood titles, and free-to-air movie channels have become the most-watched part of the genre. Alongside them sit the Hindi music channels, which are effectively Bollywood promotion in continuous rotation and the reason a film's songs are familiar weeks before anyone sees it.
Hindi movie channels
The longest-running Hindi movie channel and the anchor of the largest single-owner film catalogue in the language. Premieres, evergreen titles and the festival blocks that draw the biggest movie-channel audiences of the year.
Consistently the highest-rated Hindi movie channel in the genre. Action and mass-appeal titles rather than a broad catalogue, and the channel most likely to be running the film everyone has already seen four times.
The Star network's Hindi movie channel and its main home for satellite premieres. Now sits alongside Colors Cineplex inside JioStar, which gives the group two premiere windows in the same genre.
Zee's second Hindi movie channel, positioned for recent releases and a younger audience than Zee Cinema. Where a Zee-acquired title usually turns up first after its premiere run.
The Colors network's Hindi movie channel, and one of the most active buyers of dubbed South Indian titles — a strategy that has repeatedly produced the highest-rated single broadcast of a movie-channel week.
A curated classics channel rather than a premiere channel — the golden-age and 1980s and 1990s catalogue, plus the film-music and retrospective programming that the newer channels have no room for.
Sony's free-to-air Hindi movie channel, running the network's film catalogue without a subscription. Part of the free-to-air movie tier that now takes a large share of the genre's total audience.
One of the longest-established Hindi movie channels aimed squarely at overseas audiences — B4U built its distribution abroad before it built it in India, which is why it is familiar to diaspora households of a certain generation.
The channel that made the dubbed South Indian blockbuster a Hindi television staple. Tamil, Telugu and Kannada action titles dubbed into Hindi, running continuously — an entire audience that Bollywood-only channels do not reach.
Bhojpuri films around the clock, and reliably one of the highest-rated free-to-air movie channels in the country. Bhojpuri is usually sold as a separate language pack elsewhere, and households from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh generally want it alongside their Hindi channels rather than instead of them.
Hindi music channels
Bollywood music with no presenters and almost no talk — continuous song rotation with the channel's own animated idents between tracks. The default Hindi music channel for most households.
Music alongside the youth reality formats the Indian channel is now better known for. The bridge between the music tier and the entertainment tier, and the channel teenagers in the household actually pick.
Bollywood music with a longer memory than the chart channels — current releases alongside a deep retro rotation, which makes it the one music channel that works across three generations in the same room.
Zee's music and Bollywood-lifestyle channel — songs plus film news, promos and celebrity programming. Closer to entertainment coverage than to a pure music rotation.
What a Hindi movie channel week is actually made of Indicative weighting
Titles the channel already owns, cycled through daytime and late night. Fifty years of Hindi cinema sits in these catalogues, which is why a Hindi movie channel can fill twenty-four hours a day without buying anything new.
Telugu, Tamil and Kannada action films dubbed into Hindi. Once filler, now a genuine draw — a dubbed premiere on a Hindi movie channel can out-rate a Bollywood one. If you want these films in the original language, the Telugu IPTV channels page carries them, while the other southern languages are available through the Indian IPTV channels hub.
A film's first television broadcast after its theatrical and streaming windows. Small in hours, enormous in audience — the premiere slot is what the channel promotes all week and what most of the genre's advertising is sold against.
Diwali, Eid, Independence Day and the long holiday weekends, when every movie channel reschedules around a themed run. These weeks reliably produce the highest movie-channel figures of the year.
The bars above show relative weighting across a typical week, not measured percentages — the mix moves with what each channel has bought and what season it is. The reason it is worth knowing: a Hindi movie package is not really bought for one film. It is bought for the catalogue, and the catalogue is why these channels get left on.
Hindi devotional and bhakti channels
Twenty-four-hour devotional television was invented in Hindi. Before 2000 there was no such thing anywhere in India — spiritual programming sat in early-morning and weekend slots on general entertainment channels. Aastha and Sanskar launched within months of each other that year, proved the format worked, and a whole genre followed. It is now an important part of Hindi television, particularly for households looking for devotional programming, live religious events, bhajan, katha and meditation. It does not depend on following a serial or knowing who is in the news, which makes it easy for any member of the household to switch on.
The founding channels
Launched in November 2000 and one of the two channels that created the genre. Discourse, ceremony, live religious events and yoga programming, with an international feed running since 2005 — which is why it is already familiar to most diaspora households.
On air since June 2000 from Noida, and the other founder of the genre. Weighted towards devotion and ritual rather than philosophy, with a long-running schedule of katha, satsang and festival broadcasts. Distributed in the UK, Europe, the USA and Nepal.
Aastha's music channel, launched in 2005. Bhajan and kirtan in continuous rotation rather than a discourse schedule — the devotional equivalent of a music channel, and the one most often left running through the day.
Discourse, satsang and bhajan
A long-established Hindi devotional channel running discourse, bhajan and astrology programming. Broad in tradition rather than tied to a single sampradaya, which makes it one of the easier channels to drop into.
A sister channel to Sanskar from the same Noida group. Devotional music, discourse and festival programming, scheduled to complement rather than duplicate the flagship channel.
Hindi devotional programming built around bhajan, aarti and discourse, with a schedule that leans on live temple and event coverage during the festival calendar.
Scriptural teaching and devotional music in Hindi, with Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana discourse series forming the backbone of the schedule rather than one-off programmes.
Traditions, missions and meditation
A Vaishnav devotional channel in the Gaudiya tradition — kirtan, Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam discourse, temple broadcasts and festival coverage, with a global following that predates the channel itself.
A Jain devotional channel — Namokar mantra, muni pravachan, Paryushan and Mahavir Jayanti coverage. The Jain diaspora is well represented in the USA, UK and Canada and is rarely served at all by a general Hindi package.
The Brahma Kumaris channel — Raja Yoga meditation, commentary and instruction rather than ritual. Closer to a wellbeing and meditation channel than a devotional one, and often the one watched by family members who do not watch the rest of this tier.
What is actually on a Hindi devotional channel
The largest share of the tier by hours. Scriptural discourse — Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavatam — delivered as series that run for weeks, so an episode can be picked up mid-run without feeling lost.
Aastha · Sanskar · Sadhna · Divya TVDevotional music in continuous rotation, with no presenter and no schedule to follow. The reason this tier gets left on in the background in a way no other tier on this page does.
Aastha Bhajan · Shubh TV · Hare Krishna TVDaily worship carried live from temples, along with ceremonial broadcasts. This is the part of the schedule most tied to the Indian clock — morning aarti in India is the previous evening in North America, so catch-up is especially useful for North American viewers.
Ishwar TV · Sanskar · Hare Krishna TVInstructional rather than devotional — asana, pranayama and meditation sessions, plus the wellbeing programming that pulled a much broader audience into this tier than it started with.
Aastha · Peace of MindNavratri, Shivratri, Janmashtami, Ram Navami, Paryushan and the Kumbh cycle. Every channel in this tier reschedules around the festival calendar, and these are its highest-viewership days of the year — the ones diaspora households most want to watch as they happen.
Across the devotional lineupHindi is the only Indian language whose devotional tier is genuinely multi-faith on television. Alongside the Sanatan channels sit Vaishnav, Jain and meditation-school broadcasters, each with its own calendar and its own format.
Jinvani Channel · Hare Krishna TV · Peace of MindExact broadcast times are not listed here, because devotional schedules follow the Hindu, Jain and regional festival calendars rather than a fixed grid, and any hard time printed would be wrong within weeks. The current programme guide is the reliable source.
Hindi sports, kids and knowledge channels
Explore Hindi sports, kids and knowledge channels, from live Hindi commentary and children's entertainment to factual programming for the whole family. Hindi commentary is not an add-on to Indian sport broadcasting — it is the largest feed by audience, with full commentary teams rather than a dubbed English track, and the model every other language copied afterwards. Around it sit the Hindi children's channels, where a generation of dubbed animation now runs alongside home-made shows, and the Hindi feeds of the documentary networks, which are the only part of a package that gets watched by everyone in the room at once.
Sport with Hindi commentary
The primary Hindi cricket feed and the largest single sports audience in India in any language. Full Hindi commentary panels — former international players calling the match in Hindi, not a translated English feed.
Formerly Sports18 1, folded into the Star Sports network on 15 March 2025 after the JioStar merger. A second Hindi feed is what makes concurrent fixtures possible — two matches the same day, both in Hindi, rather than one falling back to English.
The network's Hindi channel for the sports outside the cricket calendar — kabaddi, football, and the domestic and multi-sport events that fill the months between international series. Formerly Sports18 Khel.
Sony's Hindi sports channel, carrying Hindi commentary on marquee events. A second broadcaster matters here because no single network holds every set of rights — between the two, the coverage is far wider than either alone.
Doordarshan's sports channel, and the reason some national-interest events remain watchable without a pay package. Domestic competition, Olympic and multi-sport coverage and archive sport, in Hindi and English.
Hindi kids channels
The Hindi-first children's channel of the Cartoon Network group and the home of the home-made Indian animation franchises that have outlasted most imported cartoons on Indian television.
One of the oldest Hindi kids channels, mixing Indian animation with dubbed Japanese series that have a following in India far larger than they have anywhere outside it.
Launched in 2011 and aimed at older children than the rest of the tier — action and adventure animation in Hindi, which is the slot most Hindi kids channels leave empty.
Sony's children's channel, built on originals commissioned in India rather than acquisitions. Comedy-led and pitched at younger children, in Hindi alongside other Indian languages.
The one channel in the kids tier that mixes entertainment with learning — animation alongside factual and science programming for children, in Hindi.
Knowledge, documentary and lifestyle
The Hindi feed of the documentary network — wildlife, engineering, survival and science, dubbed rather than subtitled, which is what made factual television a mainstream Hindi genre rather than an English-language one.
History and factual entertainment with a Hindi audio feed, mixing international series with programming commissioned in India. Among the most-watched factual channels in the country.
Natural history and science with a Hindi feed — the BBC's landmark wildlife series available in Hindi, which is the version most Indian households watch even when the English feed is available.
A Hindi factual channel devoted to Indian history, mythology, food and heritage rather than imported documentary. The one channel in this tier whose whole subject is India, and useful for children abroad for exactly that reason.
Hindi-language animation rather than English, which for families abroad is often the main reason the tier is wanted at all — it is the easiest exposure to the language a child gets.
- Pogo
- Sony Yay
- Discovery Kids
The step up from the kids tier — action animation, factual series and the youth music formats, all with Hindi audio available alongside English.
- Nickelodeon Sonic
- Hungama TV
- Epic
- MTV India
Two Hindi feeds rather than one, so concurrent fixtures do not force anyone back to an English commentary track, plus the non-cricket calendar the rest of the year.
- Star Sports 1 Hindi
- Star Sports 2 Hindi
- Star Sports Khel
- Sony Sports Ten 3
The channels that get watched together rather than in shifts — the documentary feeds in Hindi, and the sport that turns the living room into one room again.
- Discovery Channel Hindi
- Sony BBC Earth
- History TV18
- DD Sports
No tournament, league or fixture is listed as included. Sport rights in India are re-tendered every few years and move between broadcasters — a channel carrying a competition this season may not next season. What is fixed is that these are the Hindi-commentary sport feeds; what they are showing in a given week is answered by the current programme guide. Never Miss Prime-Time Hindi Shows — Watch Live or Anytime
With access to Hindi channels through IPTV services like RisePrimeTV, audiences can watch these programs live as they air or tune in whenever it suits their schedule. Whether it’s catching the latest episode of a popular drama, following breaking news developments, or watching a live cricket broadcast, viewers abroad can continue experiencing Hindi television the same way they did while living in India.
RisePrimeTV focuses heavily on performance, delivering Hindi IPTV channels with stable HD streaming designed specifically for international audiences.
Why Thousands of Viewers Prefer IPTV for Hindi Channels
Traditional options for watching Indian television overseas often come with limitations. Satellite packages can be expensive and restricted to specific regions, while individual streaming apps usually provide only a small selection of content rather than the full range of Hindi television channels.
IPTV has quickly become the preferred alternative because it combines live television with the flexibility of internet streaming. Instead of juggling multiple platforms, viewers can access a wide collection of Hindi entertainment, news, sports, and movie channels through one service.
